Allegretto poco mosso\n\nPriznana slovenska akademska flavtistka Lana Kuščer deluje v Združenih državah Amerike, kjer nastopa v prestižnih dvoranah, kot so Carnegie Hall, dvorana Bostonskega simfoničnega orkestra in Kennedyjev center v Washingtonu. Redno navdušuje tudi občinstva po vsej Evropi, v ZDA in Aziji. Blestela je že na glasbenem festivalu Sarasota, gostovala na festivalu Artis, londonskem Avgustovskem glasbenem festivalu, festivalu Konservatorija jazzovske glasbene sezone v Šanghaju in mnogih drugih. S komornimi zasedbami redno igra na prestižnem festivalu Opus XXI v Franciji in Nemčiji. Skupaj z dr. Dongni Xie in drugimi je soustanovila koncertni cikel »Live! Again« v Dallasu, kjer je profesorica flavte na državni univerzi Sama Houstona.\nDr. Dongni Xie je doktorirala iz klavirske igre na University of North Texas, kjer je tudi poučevala. Poleg tega je pridobila diplome na inštitutih Peabody Institute (Univerza Johns Hopkins), University of Southern California in Šanghajskem konservatoriju za glasbo. Je dobitnica zlatih medalj na pomembnih mednarodnih tekmovanjih. Nastopala je po Evropi, Aziji in ZDA, med drugim v palači Fontainebleau, v dvorani magistrata v Gijónu (Španija) in v Umetnostnem centru Wallis Annenberg v Los Angelesu. Deluje kot umetniška direktorica koncertne serije “In Bloom” musiCON, ki vključuje tri večere koncertov v New Yorku, kjer se promovirajo in izvajajo izbrana dela sodobnih skladateljev z vsega sveta. Je vodilna ustvarjalka na področju prepletanja klasične in sodobne glasbe; ustanovila je zasedbo In6ix, sekstet, ki združuje jazz in klasične stile.\n\nCelebrated Slovenian academic flutist Lana Kuščer is based in the United States, where she performs in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. She frequently captivates audiences across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. Her performances have lit up festivals including the Sarasota Music Festival, Artis Festival, London’s August Music Festival, and the Shanghai Conservatory Jazz Series. She also regularly performs at the renowned Opus XXI Festival in France and Germany. Together with Dr. Dongni Xie and others, she co-founded the Live! Again concert series in Dallas, where she is a professor of flute at Sam Houston State University.\nDr. Dongni Xie earned her doctorate in piano performance from the University of North Texas, where she also taught. She holds additional degrees from the Peabody Institute (Johns Hopkins University), University of Southern California, and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. A multiple international competition gold medalist, she has performed across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., including at the Château de Fontainebleau, the magistrate’s hall in Gijón (Spain), and the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. She serves as the artistic director of the In Bloom musiCON concert series in New York, showcasing selected works by contemporary composers worldwide.
