The karst cave called the Jewish House not far from the spring of the River Krupa has exceptional archaeological significance for Semič, and it comes to life at Christmas in a very special way. The members of the Stranska vas Sports Association illuminate it with countless lights and arrange a nativity scene in it, giving visitors a unique Christmas treat. The nativity scene in the Jewish House attracts many visitors every year. You can walk to the cave via the footbridge at Perov mlin mill, and enjoy the view of the Krupa River along the way, which is especially mysterious and mystical at Christmas time…
